New House Update

The update on the new house construction seems to change by the day. Just this weekend, they were busy with the siding and were going to Sheetrock the main floor and the kitchen cabinets were going in! These pictures are from two weekends ago. They were busy putting the shingles on the roof and pouring the basement. We are getting more and more excited. Within the past two weeks,we picked out paint colors, the stone for the front of the house, and the lighting for both inside and outside. In case you are wondering...no, we have not sold this house! I try to not think about it. It get me too frustrated when I do. They pushed back the closing one week for the new house. We are scheduled to close May 7th. Can't wait to see the siding in person!

Spring Melt

Jake found out that he loves to play in the puddles and help clear the driveway with his "shobel". It was a rare occurrence that we all arrived home at the same time earlier this week. It was pretty nice out, so we decided to scrape the driveway. For some odd reason, I love to use the ice scraper. I think I enjoy seeing the ice go away immediately. I was sore the next morning. We found a small shovel in the garage for Jake to use. He became bored after awhile and found some puddles in the alley. Joe had to go and catch him a few times. It was a good thing he still had his snow pants and boots on from daycare. He would have been such a mess. I was proud of myself! I did not freak out that he was going to to get dirty while he was playing. I guess he needs to get a little messy playing like boys play!

**Having troubles uploading pictures. I will try again later!**
